I might be soon asked to transfer exisiting file share and all the folders and files in it, into sharepoint document library. What would be the fastest and most efficient approach.

I thought about creating a script in c# or such. Perhaps there is an easier way. Anyone heard of any tools that can complete this task?

I had some experience with sharepoint. I think you would have to right your own scripts to transfer one by one all folders and files to document library.

Try doing this:

- open SharePoint document library,
- click Actions,
- open with Windows Explorer.
- cut/copy and paste
