Its social! and thats how you treat this type of marketing, i am a big believer in building a relationship with your customer.

I used to own a bakery and many people would come in and say to me that they had never met the previous baker as he was gone when they got there through the day.

My customers saw what I did, what I made and how I made it. They got to know that tuesday was slice day, wednesday was gluten free day and so on.

Social media gives us the opportunity to get social with our clients and even potential clients by introducing them to our business and giving them information that you could never get across before.

i wish I had FB when I had my bakery, It would have been awesome.

You can give your ciustomers an insight into your business, let them know its run by a human who has a family and loves what they do. By including the client in your business they know more, have more trust and if they don't buy themselves will surley recommend you to others.

STOP Treating Social media Like another way to mass promote, thats WRONG, use it to keep people in the loop and they will respond by being loyal and supporting what you do.
