Personally, I prefer affiliate programs. Affiliate programs are a good option for those who want to earn good money, but not too quickly. It takes some time to create website with quality content and get targeted traffic, but it is possible to earn a lot of money this way and if you promote programs which pay recurring commission you may build up passive income.

Pay per click is a good option if you want to earn a few bucks quickly. Also, if you have a website where is difficult to sell anything (e. g. jokes website), pay per click is a good option for you.

Direct selling of advertising space may work for you if you have highly targeted traffic, but the number of visitors is too low to earn good money with PPC. It needs some time to find advertisers, but they usually pay more than PPC advertisers.

I agree with you. Affiliates only can bring good amounts in short time. But it seems pretty tough to bring leads. I am an affiliate of market health from the last 3 months. But till the day I could net get a lead. May be because I'm not experienced at this. But I think many other people over here are making good amounts.

I think to get 1 lead, you need 1,000,000 hits on the site. Maybe I am over estimating slightly.

That perhaps is a slight exaggeration.

If your sites have good pr then you can sell links as well!
