Google, Bing, Yahoo and few other locals ones made it big. It looks like the competition is over and no new search engines are trying to do what Google did.

Aggressive marketing, good algorithms, some time = Become Giants

To become big there would have to reinvent the way we search the web and patent it, of course.

Seems like no new players are on the horison.

Do you know of any search engines trying to overtake the web search market???

Why would anyone spend their time and money to reinvent the wheel? If you have that much cash and determination to take on giant, why not spend it to create something new?

There are many like ask.com etc they are doing like Google i think there will be positive competition and we will have more nad more services

No one can compete Google as Google occupies 72% market share and have much better algos for search engine rankings
