I am planning to update my website old look. I will not change page URLS' and my site has dynamic content. The URL's that return dynamic content will not change as well.

The only thing that has me bit worried is how does google algorithm look at major ontent redesign?

As long as you keep the URL's the same and don't change the niche of the site, you should get away with that.

You can change Designing of your website to make it attractive. But don't change URL because Old URL is much famous then New URL.

Yes, it would affect a lot so think twice before redesign your site, you shouldn't change title and other element for better result.

Do check if you are keeping the keywords intact as well as what you have been doing for your old site is continued... then you should have no problem. What I mean is that if you are doing onpage SEO for your current site, then continue to do so for your new pages.

From my experience I can tell you redesigning a site may effect SERP. But I suggest that don't change the old url's and keep the meta data as it was. Add new meta data's only to the new pages. It's quite safe.

If your URL and contents are SERP, you will not get any SERP effect. Also remember internal linking is very important for SEO. Please remember to keep links as previous design.
