I might have one: Write a compelling title tag that will stand out on search result pages. The targeted keywords should be in the title tag as well. The keywords in the title are displayed in bold format in the SERP.

Use deeplinking marketing strategy. Make sure you have links coming in to many internal pages.

Link building which is based on the exchanging links just to the home page looks bit unnatural to the search engines and in my opinion can be penalized.

Exchange your inwards links with sites that come on the first google page for the target keyqords.

Me,? as My signature says, I prefer some good press releases (only those sites which allows users to place keyword link with their news submissions, others are 100% waste) I always do news submissions whenever something comes up to be announced. And yeah, it helps me lot..

Another important point is that, create a site by considering both user and Search Engine. Don't create a site only for SE.
