Hey guys,

anybody over here knows some good auto approval enabled web directories? I was having a few details before, but lost it seems. Let me know if you can share any such directories with me. By the way try these two directories for your site.

Auto approved PR 1 - http://deepweblinks.com
Manual Approval PR 3 - http://newgenredirectory.com

I am not sure about autoapproved directories. That means they allow spam, I think. Also the links that they contain might be low quality...

Do you really want to be in such a not interesting neighbourhood ?

Hi secretsOut,

I don't think that in directory submissions we can expect more link juice even if its of a high quality one. Most of the directories (even if its good one) are getting lots of good or bad submissions. So I think both will be resulting with the same effect on SEO. I'm not an expert at this. May be some experts will clear this.

Flek.

I think auto approved wouldn't be good. Yes it's correct both auto approved and not would receive good and bad submissions, however that's the point of approval - weeding out the bad ones manually and not posting them.

Unless directories can work out some form of ranking algorithm to rank sites based on quality or relevance (hint - none have this), manual approvals are here to stay or else directories become a cesspool of poor quality links.

I believe manual approvals are the best.

The only automatic feature in my directory is scanning for non existing websites and removal of broken links. Manual process where I :

- check if the site is not penalised in Google
- browse the site and determine visually if the site is worth visiting by our traffic
- check if the description of the site is manually typed and unique, and if required create my own title and description
- validate the HTML code
- check for any hidden content and any other blackhat stuff as keyword spamming etc

makes the web directories useful resource...

Autoapproval directories are no go in my opinion

Though manual directory submission does take a lot of time to do but your submission is worth and effective compared to automatic submission as it quickly become useless.

@maxseo

What exactly are you checking visually on sites? The design? Alot of sites have rubbish design but do provide concise content and information that your traffic would most likely appreciate. I can understand checking visually for not so nice ads etc..

autoapproval directories could lessen your time but you can't rely on them as it is not that effective compared to manual submission.
