I have never used web directory submission software.

Would you recommend some?

Is using this style of submission good website promotion tactics?

I think, other might comment more on this.

But before they do I will always be pro 'manual submission to fewer and better quality' directories and I would like to advise against auto submission software etc..

But that's just my few cents.

Automated directory submissions tell the the admins that its coming from bots/spam or so. I prefer semi automated directory submissions. This will look like 100% manual submission at the same time it reduces time and effort.

I have not tried either. Does anyone know or can recommend some semi-auto-submission websites or software? Want to play around it with it?

I used this tool. It's quite easy. It has around 700 directories.

MaxSEO - it seems a little contradictory to say you have never tried semi-automatic submissions of any form yet your signature offers "bulk submissions for SEO purposes" as something you are advertising.

Whats the go? If you say it's bulk but manual...well i'm not sure i'm buying that!

Hi Matt

I guess I misunderstood semi automatic. My bulk submissions they are fully manual. What I mean is that I still review al the sites, create unique description and keywords etc, but I do it on behalf of the customer or SEO business.

I thought semi automatic equals use of software with some sort of manual input. Correct me if I am wrong.

Cheers,

Which tool did you have in mind? I think you forgot to include the link?

Well, manual directory submission is always good although it take so much of your time but you can be sure that you submit your site to a right category.

However, semi automated submission is also good because it is more likely a manual submission. I'm using http://easysubmits.com/ & its pretty cool.
